Anyone know any good Wineries worth checking out near Lostock during the IISAC2009 star party.

Rodstar (Rod) usually brings along a great selection.
He sets up tent down the back.

I seem to remember passing one or two that may be worth a look between Maitland and Gresford.
I think one was nearer to Gresford.

Cant help with any names though....sorry.

Yeh Geoff i think there is one or 2 on the Tocal road north of Paterson. Otherwise the main bulk of wineries are a little to the south of maitland (cessnock, pokolbin, broke)

The Bottle shop at Paterson doesn't have wines on display and you have to ask for what u know you want and hope they have it. My Wife went to the Bottle shop at East Gresford, and even though more expensive than the average bottlo did have more choice and quantity

The IGA supermarket in Dungog has an extensive range of beers and wines. The Dungog Visitors Information Centre has information on other local attractions.

Glendonbrook wines
Park St Gresford just as you come into the town limits on the left coming from Paterson .Not a bad drop I have the emptied a bottle or two of their wine over the years
