If you have opted for the wonderful Feather Touch focusers on your new R/C scopes, or if like me you just like them anyway (and don't own an R/C), then this is the must have for astro imaging.
The Feather Touch Digital Motor System attaches in seconds to the shafts of the Feather Touch 2" focusers (FT2015, FT2020, etc) and provides absolute control over the focuser.
Included in the package is the DSM1, the Hub, and the hand-controller, plus cables to connect, and a cable to run between the hub and the PC. All items are brand new, not used.
The upshot of this is that once connected, software packages such as FocusMax etc will allow auto-focus of the image. Perfect and repeatable.
For visual use the hand-controller provides fine and "hands-free" (from the scope) focusing, with a digital read-out in the hand-controller.
Priced at AU$575 posted. I agree, it ain't cheap, but it is the best.
