Diamond Berries

Some of you may have seen a previous rendition of this in a slideshow that I created a while ago. I wasn't happy with that version as it had too much shadow in the shadow areas. I've now re-processed it and am a bit more pleased with it.

I made this photograph during a walk on a chilly morning along the Diamond Lake track. Diamond Lake is approximately 8 km out of the township of Wanaka.

The slant on the horizon is actual. I leveled my tripod with a bubble level.

Blended for foreground interest and background elements.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM
1/15s f/16 at 17.0mm iso125

Slightly higher resolution available here.

Comments, critique, etc., as always is welcome.

Regards,
Humayun

Like david said the composition is fabulous. I hadn't seen the first but this version, is certainly breath taking to say the least.

Well done
