Dust storm

Ok.....here i am looking outside at yet another dust storm......not a big one, very minor, but very noticable.....

Thanks for the bulletin – I wonder if it will make it as far as SE Qld again? Sigh, more cleaning to do…

Looking outside we have a dust storm Very noticable. Gray everywhere. Can hardly see the sun its just a bright glow.

It's starting to clear up here. Can just make out patches of blue sky occasionally, and clouds. Forcast here for thunder storm later. Winds are fairly strong gusting to around 40 - 50k the flag across the road is making a snapping sound as it's blown around.

yep thought it looked a little strange this afternoon , very noticable on the coast now.

The first reports came in on the radio this morning, i heard a fellow from Cunnamulla had phoned in about it.....

We drove from Port Macquarie to Sydney yesterday. The dust started a few Km south of Port and lasted until south of Newcastle.

The first newscast that said anything about dust was from ABC Newcastle and they claimed the worst of it was over Swansea.

I reckon they were misinformed. It was much worse around the Brothers - they were not visible from the highway.

We have dust again today. It was around yesterday but cleared in the evening. Back again today.
