m42 Last image from the TOT

My first m42 of the season!
Taken through the ed80 using the Canon 20d.
Mounted on the TOT.
54x20sec subs @ iso 800. Total exposure time 17min 20secs.
dss, cs3
This is kind of a farewell image from the TOT.
I've really enjoyed pushing this mount to it's limits. But it's time to move forward.
Looking forward to doing a "proper" job on this one in the near future.

Its kinda sad to see the Tower of Terror go....sniff sniff.

Your new mount has a lot to live up to with the images you have taken with the TOT.

Lovely image of M42 JJJ. nice round stars and very nice detail in there too.

Good luck.

Very subtle j. I really like your non agressive processing.

Yeah, the TOT lost most of it's appeal once it was no longer the only one in the village (Australia).
No, not really.

I should have my heq5pro by the weekend David.

Very Nice Jeanette!

I agree, very subtle and quite pretty at the same time.

A stunner, thanks for sharing.

You've produced some stunning images from the TOT Jeanette. Can't wait to see what you can do with the GEM.

No Jakob, it was taken from my front paddock.
Most of what I took at Barambah wasn't worth posting.
