m77

m77 seyfert galaxy this is one galaxy that does not get much attention as it is so bright and not so pretty but has a fair amount of structure,
25 x3min shots iso400.yhis 50% crop from original

Nice shot Alan ! Quite a small subject (considering this is a 50% crop), but you still managed to show the arms / dust lane detail within it.

Nice one Allan, Small, bright with a few smaller galaxies in the background, quite a challenging target.

I can see some outer detail in the arms -- it's very faint, but it's there.

Looks like a tough target Alan with its small angular size. You've done a fine job of bringing out the faint structure of the arms. Well done.
