NGC6188 in Ha with FSQ106Ed and QHY8

NGC 6188. This time captured with a 7 nm Baader Ha filter. This was to be used to compliment the 6188 RGB image taken last week. For some reason I am having some problems aligning the RGB and the Ha using IP3 so decided I would just post the Ha as is.
The image is only 6 X 10 minute exposures taken with Baader 7 nmHa.
It was originally to be 20 X 10 minute exposures but rolling clouds put an end to proceedings for the evening.

Great capture, QHY8 gives a much wider FOV then the QHY9.

Really wide field Doug. I can't help thinking something's not quite right with focus or the field though. It seems the left part of the picture is blurrier than the right? Camera not square?

I mean that's a FSQ106ED right? This TAK gives pinpoint stars and a field to die for.

Thanks for the comments and Marc I tend to agree with you although CCD inspector shows very little camera tilt. Not sure what is going on as the whole setup is screw together.

If you take a pic of a uniform starfield you'll be able to tell. May be the CCD plane not square. I know I moved mine inside the QHY8 originally. Wasn't centered in the nosepiece (off my nearly 2mm) and wasn't exactly square either. There are three little screws that give you a little bit of play to move things sideways or up/down.

Now your TAK optics being extremely good other things show? There's always a weaker link in the chain and something to fix as you push the envelope.

I just ran the image back through CCD Inspector and it is indicating a tilt on the camera. I don't know why as everything is boltede up tight and a test set of images without having moved the camera don't show it up again. I will have to investigate further.
