Mars - First attempt 25 Oct 2005

G'day everyone,

I had my first go at Mars last night. Havn't really spent much time processing since I was up all night. Climbed into bed @ 5.30am.
I got a variety of avi's of Mars, Saturn and the moon.

When I get a chance to process them I'll post some better ones hopefully.

All your comments and suggestions are most welcome.

Cheers.

Nice and sharp, colour is good and seeing must have been pretty reasonable. Good stuff.

Man ... for a first attempt at something as tricky as Mars ... that's some nice shootin' Tex!!!

Got my NexImage solar system imaging package today. Hoping to fire up with a few of my own pics over the coming days, if Canberra ever crawls out from under this mirky grey blanket.

I can't recall the last good full night's viewing???

I reckon it's got something to do with the few bits and pieces I've placed orders for in the last week?

Thanks everyone for your nice comments.

It was exciting to capture Mars for the first time.
I want to thank Mikee too for his advice on the settings to use on the Toucam.

I've processed some more avi's and this is my best one so far.

Cheers and thanks again.
