Hey guys i made a purchase online from these guys on the 6/9/09 its been 8 working days and there website still shows they havent shipped my package is this normal? there website says they would dispatch 4-5 working days after receipt has been received and i got my receipt the same day, i have emailed them on there order email and another general email and have had no reply, i haven't tried calling them yet due to the 2 hr time difference and me being at school and wen i get home there closed, has anyone else had such a long wait?, the products both show as in stock

Give them a call before leaving for school then. I have found them most helpful. Mike at their Sydney store knows his stuff.

Marki said to expect 6 days registered post from Perth to Sydney. Maybe York didn't allow enough for transport to WA.

Everything I've ordered from them did show up. It was a bit annoying when they didn't say up front that some things like my C8 solar filter would have to come from the US and they held the whole order until they had everything.

Give them a call in the morning before school or on Saturday. far better to sort it out in person than guessing about emails and websites.

I have ordered from them and yes it did take a bit longer but not much longer though. 4 - 5 is usually working days although not leaving site would be concerning.

Rang york this morning,
turns out there website isn't displaying that information correctly, and that they guy who i was talking to had been trying to get in contact with my to make sure I had picked the right dovetail bar,so i went to my sister and said u had any calls from anyone for me, and she was like oh yer had like 3 for you last week, sigh lol,
so all is good great support
hopefully receive my items this week

Having had a similar experience with an O/S supplier that got fairly well out of shape, there is lots of value in the old phone!

Chasing suppliers is a regular part of my job. I've just got off the phone to one. For problems phones are better then email, and always get the name and contact details of the person you spoke to.
