Saturn - 26th Oct 2005

This was all I could squeeze out of a group of avi's caputured the other morning.

Saturn was low in the east and the seeing was not favourable.
I combined 3 sub frames from 3 short avi's and stacked them to get this final image using Registax.
Processed in PS and Neat-Image.
Not much detail and noisy but looking forward to better things soon.

Cheers

No bad given its current position in the sky and the seeing was not so hot.

Nice image.
The rings are certainly closing up....
Here's a crap "my first astro pic" of Saturn on November 2002. But is serve to show how rings were much more open then!
Cheers

One bad habit I have is that I am sometimes in a hurry and don't note what my setup is. I'm not sure which powermate/s I used (I was stacking them at one stage) and I remember I also used a diagonal so not sure.
I'll work it out and let you know.

Cheers my dudemate
