PoelAlignMax in Southern Hemisphere

Has Anyone got PolarAlignMax (PAM) to work in Southern hemisphere ?

I tried using it last night with CCDSoft and The Sky 6 professional.

I could not get plate solving to work from PAM even though I can get it to work from CCDSoft. Most of the time i could plate solve using Insert Auto Astronomy command from CCDSoft, but when PAM tried it it would never match.

I then noticed something perculiar. The FITS header for the images I took when using CCDsoft had a DEC value of -57.xx.xx yet when PAM took the image the FITS header has a positive value of +57.xx.xx This explain why the sky would end up looking in some part of the sky no where near where the scope was pointing.

I am connecting The Sky via POTH and connecting PAM via POTH. POTH is then connected to my MI250 via Gemini Driver.

Anyone else trie dthis or seen this problem ?

Best Regards
