October Imaging Challenge (Lunar) - Days 10 and 11

Hi all.

We'd love you to take part in the October Imaging Challenge. Please post your images here.

Please ensure all images obey the posting guidelines when you attach them.

While it would be nice if the image was taken in the month of October, it's not essential so feel free to post older images if you're unable to take some new ones.

We look forward to seeing your contributions!

This one was shot on the 10th October 2005 with a canon PowerShot A400 held up to the eye-piece of a Tasco 302003 refractor in front of a front street light...lol

Hi all.

Here's a 2-frame mosaic of Gassendi + Mare Humorum, taken on the 20th of May on a night of very good seeing. Before my EQ platform (non-driven dob!)

Details:
- 10" dob (no tracking) + ToUcam Pro 840k
- Capture settings: 5fps, 1/100s exp., no gain, 0 gamma
- Seeing: 7/10, Transparency: 8.5/10
- FL approx 3100mm, with 2.4x barlow and ToUcam pulled out.

Processing:
- Hand selected the best frames to stack, no more than 20 of each image.
- Stacked and minor wavelets processed in registax, then 2 frame mosaic created in autostitch, then finally processed (levels/sharpen) in Photoshop.

Attached is the forum version, the full version can be seen by clicking here.

Here's my 2-frame mosaic of Schiller (top) + Hainzel (bottom), taken on the 20th of May on a night of very good seeing. This was also taken before I got tracking.

Attached is a cutdown for forum version, the full version can be seen by clicking here.

Comments and feedback always welcomed.

OK, I'm keen, but nothing from this month, sorry.
Schiller is part of a wider field shot showing the lower limb. Taken 20th July.
Gassendi was taken on the 21st June.
Both with the usual setup, ToUcam, and MN76.
Schiller will be at prime focus, and Gassendi with the 2.5x Powermate.
Registax etc, etc.
