I have one, and it's bigger brother the 12.5, and like them. Initially I had advertised them for sale but there wasn't any interest, so I sold a couple of high end eyepieces instead. I am quite happy. Depends on your pocket and requirements.

i liked mine too, very comfortable to look thru with the generous er..big but not that heavy, and views were pretty good..good value ep imo

There was talk on CN that the thread is wrong on them and they will not take filters? Any comfirmation on this??

Didn't see that, but I know mine accept filters no problems.

The original model of the SPL didnt have filter screw in the new ones do though =)
