CS4 - histogram blank

Trying CS4 trial version. I'm opening TIF files stacked from DSS, but the histogram is not showing anything, just a circle with a line through it. If I open a RAW file the histogram does show up and I can see the RGB channels histograms. But it just won't display for stacked TIFs. Any ideas? Something to do with colour profiles or working profiles or something?

I don't have CS4, but, all I can think of is Image > Mode > ? Are they 32-bit or 16-bit? Try converting to 16-bit and see what happens.

Aah, yes. That did it. They were saved as 16 bit TIF from DSS so I hadn't looked at that Mode setting.
