First Astro-Imaging Lecture

Hi all...

Gave my first lecture on Astrophotography this morning to my son's year 5 class. They enjoyed it, I enjoyed it too!!

Very cool experience - I'm used to cynicism and (adult) disinterest when I talk about this kind of stuff - it was refreshing to experience such an attentive, interested and engaged audience.

Thank God for the next generation!!!

Doug

Thats great Doug ! They will remember that lecture for the rest of their lives. Some may pick up the hobby at some stage in their lives.
Doing things like this is important.

Hope so David.
The Q&A session afterwards was illuminating as to the depth of knowledge that some of these kids have with regard to astronomy - very worthwhile and thought-provoking for me also!!
