Jupiter 8.20.09 + a new Avatar from Australia

Jupiter captured with ASTRO IIDC at 60 fps 1200 subs RGB image.
Seems the white spot with dark edges has gotten more prominent over the last month. So far we have had 4 out of 21 days in August clear enough to conduct some planetary imaging.

As a mineral collector I thought it appropriate to change my avatar to our crystal of Rhodonite from the famous Broken Hill Mine.

Hi Dave,
Yep, Rhodonite looks good but my favorite crystal from our mines is Amethyst.

Nice to see you get some clear weather for Jupiter.
