jupiter question

i notice on a alot of 'starter' photos, jupiter has a blue ringing around it-- you know what causes that? TIA- john

mines a prime example mike, i took alot off in photoshop- i read something about that but cant remember what it is now

Do you mean when the red and blue channels are out of alignment?

So you get a red limb on one edge and a blue limb on the other?

my blue circles the whole planet, i was thinking all kind of reasons, my camera? jupiters methane?, it doesnt really bother me, i was just curious why i get that--maybe its normal!
