SCT Service

It's time to get my C8 SCT serviced. There is some dust in the OTA and the baffle tube needs regreasing to fix some image shift. I am getting it done by the shop pros. Is there anything else I need to consider at the same time?

Ask them if they would like to install a temperature sensor and cooling fans.

That is a serious suggestion, but nothing other than that.

It would be for knowing when your scope is at ambient. The fan will help to cool quickly. Just suggested improvements only.
