Thanks for that Roman

They're magic! I enjoyed those Roman. Is an IR set up pricey?

Thats pretty awesome! The second last one is my favorite...

Are you just using a DSLR with no IR filter on it? I've been considering removing the IR filter on my old 300D just to play with this style of photography.

Michael: It can be pricey if you want. But as a student I cant spend lots of money for expensive equipment (I have also another hobbies ).

BW pics was taken with simple compact Olympus Fe-100. The IR version pics are taken with Panasonic FZ-18 and 720nm (colored IR) or 800nm (BW pics) IR filter. Both IR filters I bought from ebay for around £12 .

AlexN: As I wrote I use that IR with Panasonic FZ-18. You can remove the IR cut filter from your Canon but it makes only one difference. Your exposure time will change from e.g. 20 seconds to 1/200 sec. But with this you can make extraordinary pics like butterflies in IR or another animals. You can also try to capture moving objects ...

Thanks for replies!

Cheeers, Roman
