6mm Ethos (DROPPED)

6mm Ethos with box, caps and all paperwork. 2 dings from being dropped - photos to come. $400 inc Express Post.

Optically, it looks and performs fine to my eyes, and I have been using it in my Pronto for a few months now for medium power sweeps (80x, ~1.25 degree TFOV) of the Milky Way up at Mt Nebo.

I recently bought a house nowhere near Mt Nebo and so sold my Pronto. Therefore, the cash will be put to more immediate use (shed, new mower etc) than having a spare eyepiece for a future scope.

Although to me it performs superbly, I am by no means an expert. So, I will make the new owner an offer to refund their money (and return postage) on its return if, after having tested it for a week or two, they are not happy.

PM from/to Username: qld

I cannot reply to your pm as your mailbox is full. I was going to say:

Unfortunately I am in Brisbane, so it'll be a long drive for a pick up . I am planning to send it Express Post though, so it will get there the day after the deposit arrives in my bank.

Let me know if this is okay.

Thanks,
Matt

Sorry, it is now pending sale. I will update the thread to reflect this.

I have added some photos including as good a close up of the drop damage as my crappy camera will allow.

Note there are three areas of damage, not two as originally described.

The last photo is of the first quarter moon taken with the camera held up to the eyepiece. It was supposed to demonstrate that the eyepiece has lost nothing visually, but again, I really need a decent camera...

While this is currently sale pending to username qld, I have attached the photos to give fair warning of the external damage.
