Spectroscopic Book Advise

I am after some Astro-spectroscopic books.

I know that many have been mentioned in this forum, but a quick (recomended books) thread could help others looking for references.
Perhaps some indication of the book chapters and audience level will help as well.

Jeff,

PM 'Robin' who has recently chimed in on the Spectroscopy threads
from the UK, and also maybe Merlin66.
I know Robin from years on the QCUIAG forums and both he and
Merlin66 know the subject inside out and could point you to
the right direction.

Yeah, they'd be the best two to talk to....what Merlin doesn't know about spectroscopy isn't worth knowing about!!.

Olivier has prepared quite a comprehensive list of books on spectroscopy.
The latest addition to my library " Stellar Spectral Classification" by Gray&Corbally is a bit heavy, but has to be the ideal "reference" work on stars.
Kitchins "Astrophysical Techniques" especially Chapter 4 on spectroscopes (BTW Chapter 3 is all about Photometry) is a worthy addition.
