Well done!! Although now with traffic lights installed there is a chance of a lovely revenue-raising camera to follow

Where are those traffic lights? At that highway intersection? Gosh, there must be a car there at least every 10 minutes during rush hour?

Yep one set of traffic lights on the wrong intersection....instead of installing the lights at the intersection of the roads to Brisbane/Mitchel/Injune/West Roma(?) they installed them at an intersection 200 meters to the north in the middle of town. They already have cameras on the intersection but we have been told they are only to monitor traffic flow not revenue raising . I think at peak hour 10 cars are at the intersection at any one time and I think one of those are broken down because it had been pushed to the side this morning.

Yes we now have 6 TV channels of mostly rubbish only time worthwhile watching is when the documentaries are on.

Adrian

mehhh, i havent watched a TV channel on well over 18 months, and i dont miss it at all.

Digital TV confuses me here, where is your incentive to buy a set top box, all you get is the same channels, and about 4 or 5 more?

Off topic ( ) but re digital set-top box. I invested several years ago to avoid the ghosting and noise I was getting in the analogue signal in the city. Worked a treat except for weaker signals - SBS (Ch 28) was the problem. Only problem is - with analogue, weak signal just means more noise on the picture (and probably still good sound!); with digital you either have good picture/sound, or you have horrible breakup/nothing!
