I should just print that out and stick it in the far end of the paddock with a light under it. Then id have perfect views everynight.

WOW!!!! I'm impressed!!!!

Some of the comments in that site are a bit harsh "I think so & so's pics are better" and "not as good as so & so". Give the man some praise people!!!!!!

Saw this yesterday and it is amazing. Seeing conditions must be good where he is. Olympus Mons is really very visible.

It almost looks like an embossing effect has been added. The features appear topographically correct amidst a great deal of noise (obviously a side affect of heavy processing to bring them into view) but I've not even seen HST images that reveal such shaded relief especially under such a high angle of lighting. If it's truly authentic then hats off to this guy for taking amateur planetary imaging to the absolute limits!!
