There are some differences - lower profile 2x speed Crayford, longer tube with multple baffling and larger secondary mirror that gives a 36 % CO.
Others more knowlegable will help out.
There are some differences, but it is as said. I have the Bintel N200 version, which is their "imaging" reflector. Same mirror cell, focuser, finder and bracket.
Try OPT if you wanna import, they are very nice.
sorry to hijack this thread, but i too have noticed these scope in my travels.
does anyone know how these would compare to a ed80 pro for imaging?
Aperture is king in this case. The 200mm aperture, combined with the substantially faster f/4 optics, yield over 19x the light gathering power per pixel, assuming the same camera on each scope, taking into account the 70mm secondary obstruction.
