Also what ISO setting did you use on the 20D?

It's only ever happened to images I've taken of ngc253. DSS works fine in .raw for everything else.

I thought I had it sussed the other night and lost another nights work. Capturing in .jpg was a last resort cause I just had to nail this galaxy. It has to be something simple causing the conflict.
To capture as much data as possible, I use ISO 3200 for half the subs and ISO 800 for the other half. Then layer the resulting images in photoshop, flatten then adjust curves etc.
Though sometimes I just dump the whole lot in DSS and stack them together.
It all depends on how much time I want to spend on it.
