M83 and M62 - Hopefully getting better at this ..

M83 through 200m, guided with Orion SSAG and ST80 on an EQ6, with a Canon 1000d, etc. etc. 2 hours worth of data, with darks etc.

M62 through the above. about 20 mins worth, with darks. I just happened to be in the part of the sky and thought, oh go on then ...

Duncan,

Oh, dude. You've got the hang of it now!

Might I suggest dropping the reds and increasing the blues in your M83? Otherwise, you're on your way now.

Do you image from your backyard?

Regards,
Humayun

Duncan, looks like you are coming to terms with it all now. The backgrounds look a little black to me and I wonder if there is still some data which can be extracted yet.
A real improvement. Well done.

Thanks mate, i think i need to set the colour temp on my lap, to the same as my main disply, on the laptop, where i do my processing, the image is cooler and brighter, so the sky doesnt look so dark, and has more of a blue tint.

thanks everyone for the encouragement

Duncan,

Great work and 2 hours of data! That is really good guiding. Well done and keep at it. There is a whole sky waiting to be imaged.
