NGC 6520 is the open cluster below the dark nebula Barnard 86.

Synthetic luminance image (R+G+B), 60m R, 60m G, 60m B
BRC-250 ST-X10ME.

Nice combination of the nebula and star cluster in a massive star area.

Those two objects look like they're a match made in heaven.

I love the image scale you're getting with that camera and the BRC.

You might want to also have a go at the starfield to the east of the Southern Pleiades. Here's one that I did a few years ago: http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ad.php?t=16825

Very nice Steven, Image scale is great for this object. Colour is also very nice in this busy area.
