Welcome Jason and the Argonauts. You have the pleasure of being the 500th member. I as the 400th member, doesn't it feel great??!?? Great to meet you at Ron's. Nice scope 17 and one half inchs. Hough is correct in that Ron was at astrofest.Hey Ron , how big a Dob do I need to get into the large dob Club . Me thinks that the goal posts have moved recently with the advent of Pete's 30". Please be gentle. Cheers Zubenel.

I think that my scope at 16"is at the low end of the BIG DOB scope scale as we have a 30"a couple of 25"s at least 3 20"
1x18" 1x17.5" 1x22" quite a few 16"s a couple of 14" and Quite a few 12"SCT and DOB scopes
What does anybody else think make a BIG scope?
Houghy I dont think Jason was there this year, but was in the past.astroron

Thank you to everyone who welcomed me to IceInSpace this week. Yes, I was at the QLD Astrofest in 2004 but only for the final Saturday (lucky it was clear). I think I met a few of you at Ron's on the 1st of October - as usual the Sunday (2nd) was an even better night!
