Do you mean a place where you might actually have a chance to find them yourself, Sean?
If so, your best bet is probably out on the Nullarbor Plain - the country rock there is light-coloured limestone, so any dark rocks are likely to have fallen from the sky. The bad news is that a lot of other people have already been there searching for just that reason, but the good news is that it's a big place and something may have been overlooked.
Also, check out the Mundrabilla meteorite fall on the web (briefly mentioned at
Wikipedia: Mundrabilla) - who knows, there may be some pieces still lying around out there (and it's on the way to the Nullarbor!)
Easier (and a bit closer to Perth), is hunting for tectites around the fringes of salt lakes in the Eastern Goldfields. The north-western end of Lake Yindarlgooda (just East of Kalgoorlie), is usually good for little ones. These aren't really meteorites, although they did fall from the sky onto WA, see
Tektites, aka Australites.
