Thanks to all replies about strange rock photo wont happen again

Many thanks to all you great people in taking the time to view my Photo
I now feel totally embarrassed by putting up a very poor photo amongst all the great photos
It will not happen again (sorry )
one day I will understand how to drift align ( as so many different ways people do alignment I got so confused ) so I then I hope to do better photos, or just give up ( also hard to process photos after deep sky stacker auto saves in a high dynamic range tiff format cant open a photo when it saves it )
Thanks for looking all
I know it was not Mercury as I cant see that low down from where I am cant even see Pleiades
Not see much lower than Venus and Mars, houses, trees, hill, etc. that photo was taken on the 25th of June at about 6-50 am.
If you look up in Stellarium or other program back track to that date you not see many main stars I am able to lock on to learn drift align, Seems I’m in the wrong place at the right time
Thanks again all

Don't be sorry, Rob!

It was a perfectly legitimate question!

We all learn by asking!

Too true.
If you don't ask, you never know.

Just keep trying Rob! you don't need to apologize.
If you don't ask you don't get an answer.
Anyone around East Melbourne area willing to help Rob in learning drift alignment.
Cheers

Rob,

Don't be backward about coming forward. You never know what you might turn up!
And we always like a good puzzle. Thanks for the challenge!

Regards, Rob (now that's confusing!)
