M16

howdy,
Had a try doing M16 the other night. Had trouble processing a purple tinge out of it, on the edges. Let me know if you can see it. Thanks for looking!

Thanks for looking and the comments, guys! I'm getting used to the 40d and how to use it. I also can't say enough about the EQ6 and EQMOD, it has turned my attempts around, coming from an LXD55 mount. I also bought a book on Astro processing, which has helped too!
Cheers and clears!!

Nice one. Tonal range is there, could perhaps be stretched a little more though. No sign of the problem you note, so you've done a good job of correcting it. Don't be afraid to push the data a harder. The key is to know what its capable of. If you don't push it, you'll never know. Keep at it. Hope to see more.

Nice one Gray. Colour etc looks very good. The EQ6 is working a treat. Never used EQmod with my EQ6 but I was always very happy with the results from a relatively inexpensive mount.

Look forward to seeing more from you.

I don't know what Picasa does to my albums and links, but the link to this image is no longer available.
Sorry!
