Thank you, Sir. If I remember correctly, I think I set the shutter based on Av and ISO of 400, and then switched to manual, dropped the ISO, and cranked it an extra 2/3rds of a stop.

Cheers. I think the softness came in part to how damp this area was. It was rather dewy there, as evening started to fall.

Glad you like it, mate. It is definitely a peaceful place. On the other side of that lush forest is a nice big lake that I had a lot of fun skipping stones on whilst waiting for the light.

Thank you. Yes, that is the exact look and feel I was going for with the background. I had initially ran some HPF for sharpening but decided to drop it as it looked better with a soft feel to it.
