Ngc 2070

Well this was a 10min guided exposure out at Kalnura last Saturday night .
Taking through the ED80 with the SXV-H9C ,curves and levels in PS.

Thanks Ken,yes that purple just could'nt get rid of It . No filters used so I can't blame the filters

I got the purple out and cleaned it up a bit. Hope you don't mind. Hope it looks better too. A bit too green now.

Looks great to me I am happily colour blind, my $200 80mm doesnt offend colour expectations. Ken's repro looks cool also might have sharpened it in the repro ??

Yes Alex, I did sharpen it. Then I sharpened more, then played with the RGB.
I gotta learn sometime. Might as well start now.

nice shot there louie, my only question is could the stars be focused a little bit more they look blurry to me (I do wear glasses) but the nebula looks great?

Yes I agree David,I think the focuse could be better as well and It would of produced a better shot.

I think you must have tried to focus the nebula instead of the surrounding stars. Mind you though i would be dancing in the street with that shot of yours its great

I hope I eventually learn to get pics this good.

It is all good and well to jump about excited about the Toucam Bert gave me & my boys but it is another thing to use it right.

I am looking, listening & learning from you all. Thanks Louie for letting me play with your pic.

I agree with everyone, it's a great shot Louie.
Can only get better mate.
I enjoyed watching you do your craft my friend even though it was hard at times with guiding and focusing but we learn as we go.

Great work and keep them coming.

Don't know If thats possible to do David , I think If your got good focuse you have It for the hole field on DSO's .

Yep there a good scope Narayan ! I'm starting to think that I might put the C11 on the market and go back to 4" refractors, I'm geting tied of lifting the heavy scope on to the mount .
