What am I seeing?
Today I put a white light solar filter on an 80MM refractor and I see something like the attached image.
I eliminated the diagonal and tried more than 1 eyepiece.
I rotated the solar filter and then rotated the objective lens.
For lack of a better term, the shadow moves as I rotate the lens.
Could this be a lens spacing issue or maybe pinched optics?
