Selling my HEQ5 equatorial mount. Has not been used on grass or dirt and has been in garage since bought. Detail are..

Black in colour
Dual axis motor drives
Two counterweights
Hand controller
This is the non goto version

Asking $600, local pickup and meet in Sydney metro to exchange.

Is this mount capable of PEC?

Hi Mike,
the mount is the standard heq5 mount with non goto motors. If you upgrade with the synscan heq5 upgrade kit or any other goto upgrade kit for this model then you can use pec.

Depending on where you read it can take from 16 to 18 kg load.

that is about right, 16 to 18. I no more than 14kg on it.
