Jupiter 18/06

Well isn't it always the way, you take an image your pretty pleased with, jump on here and get greeted by Anthony's and Paul's latest masterpieces.

Ah Well.

Jupiter through 8 inch Newt on Eq6pro with SPC900NC toucam through a 5 x powermate in what I would consider pretty good seeing for suburban Melbourne.

Comments / Tips greatly appreciated.

Good effort - well done.

I found the seeing quite poor this morning in Melbourne - don't think you could have done much better than that.

One thing you can so is turn the web cam around to ensure a South on top orientation and the belts to be horizontal - brightest belt is the NEB so that one goes towards the bottom - also helps when processing in Registax etc. as you can pick out best frames/features easier.
