EQMOD Lat and Long input format

When entering your site lat and long in EQMOD initial setup, should it be in DD.MM.SS or DD.MM + decimal?

I tried using DD +dec and the scope slewed backwards

Hi Mike,
should be DD.MM + decimal.
Also check your timezone setting as these have been known to give problems.

Thanks Adrian, you confirmed my suspicions. EQMOD will accept any number format you care to type in, pity they don't warn you in their guide.

I fixed the problem once and for all by installing a bluetooth dongle on my obs PC and wirelssly connecting my little GPS unit, which then setup EQMOD quite easily.

Dunno why I hadn't done it before, it was too easy I suppose.
