Pluto - movement over 5hrs

Nothing as nice as the recent pics and videos some have posted, but I'm pleased to have succeeded in tracking down this little blighter. Didn't try to spot visually as the moon was almost full and not far away at the time, but happy with these 2 pics.

Each one is 3 x 3mins stacked ISO 800, 450D on 8" with MPCC and LPS. Link to my website included - I think its a bit easier to see when you use the arrow keys to flick back and forth on the website.
1st frame 2110hrs 7/6/09
2nd frame 0154hrs 8/6/09

Well done Rob, a great job tracking and capturing the motion of such a challenging target.
Great work.

Cheers Daniel.

Hi Rob,

Nice capture, you can still see the field it was in the night before when I was taking pictures.

Cheers
Stuart

Thanks muchly for looking and your encouragement all.

Stuart - yes - I see what you mean - brings home to me the great resolution and sensitivity of your rig!

Jeanette - agreed Fri & Sun too good to pass up - had to find something to do not too badly affected by moon though. I'll have to have another go for Pluto visually at Ron's with decent dark skies to have any hope with the 8" I expect.
