Bahtinov Lines in Tak Focusing Techinique

Hi Guys, this may sound a bit off, and probably some may think I'm a bit loopy as well, but the fact is, this is spot on, and works perfectly.

Did you know, when using a Tak FSQ-106, and I presume this will work with any fine instrument, that one can make the pattern of the now Bahtinov Mask appear very clear, and defined in the view finder of a Canon Angle Finder attached to that perticular scope.

I actually had a Mask made for the Tak, but sold it two days later because it was quite usless to my needs.

What I do when focusing the Tak through the 5D and angle finder is this.

I focus the scope, always be eye only, I don't use any sofware at all, then I turn the focus ring on the angle finer so it is just a wisker out of focus, then adjust the main scope untill the
Bahtinov Masks lines snaps into place, and are clearly visible.

It works 99% of all imaging runs.

Has anyone else experienced this.

Leon
