very solid pillar would suit Vixen GP or Eq5 mount. Could be modified to suit larger mounts. Steel central post with aluminium legs complete with castors and levelling screws. As new condition, only used a couple of times. $295 plus freight.

How does it work re the central bolt - is there a cutout on one side so you can get a hand inside ? Photo ?

I think you undo the three wing nuts and remove the adaptor which is then fixed to the EQ head then refit to the pier. Would be easy to make other adaptors to suit different mounts.
