Rising Moon through Gum Trees

So, its the time of the month when everyone tries to get a dramatic pic of our nearest neighbour with not alot of effort, so i thought i would jump on the bandwagon, here are two pics. Moonrise through the trees was taken with a 200mm lens, ISO400 with an exposure time of around 1/400 , the othershot is just looking at the moon glow on the clouds and on the trees below, and i just thought it looked nice.

First one is good Duncan, second one is ..........good too.

What are you doing mate we will have to get out to some dark skies together with our new cameras and bounce some ideas off each other? The moon does not come up until 11:30pm next Saturday so do you want to check out Tidbinbilla nature reserve 7:30pm setup for 8pm start? All welcome......
