looking for observatory prices 1k-4k sizes 2m-2m-2m

hi all im looking for any observatory that fits the diametunes on the title got to be small as possible but still able to fit 3 people and a 12'' dob or a 6'' sct with tripod even plans will do donatoins well i never say no to them
if observatory comes with scope and still fits the price range very happyneeds to be able to combat 40knot winds 4 inche an hour rains and most importantly me(i'm very ruff with stuff made out of steel) any advise sugestions and plans or deals will be very apretiated

I've seen a few home observatories made from aluminium sheds - where either the entire roof has been removed and placed on castors, or part of the roof. Should be cheapish and easy to do. Just a though.

i see you said plans, so i presume you could consider building one.
i built my own, materials cost would be within your 4k budget easily. its withstood 140kmhr winds and whatever rain can be thrown at it. see link at bottom, theres a page that shows it under construction.

tools needed, Shovel, hammer, level, electric drill for screws,power saw 7inch variety, drop saw... preferably with slide. tape measure. thats about it .

My 3m x 6m custom built observatory cost about...

Shed: $4,500
Concrete: $1,100
Pier: $450
and then several years later... insulation& lining for enclosed half: $800ish

So considering your $4k budget, I think you should be able to have a substantial shed for that. But not a dome.

I had mine designed/drawn up by a family friend, and then parts made & pre-cut by a local engineer and then put together on-site by myself and family.

The hard part is planning what to build, how to construct it, the right size shed for the budget, etc. All those decisions and calculations. It's not easy or quick I think. But it can be done for your budget I think.

as i said second hand if it must be. i would like it smaller then 2m-2m and alot cheaper if possible all it has to house is a 12'' dob and a 6'' sct with 2 people can you give me any price ranges

With the 12" scope you have, the only useful observatory you can use is a Roll off roof observatory, as a dome such as the Sirius type would not allow you to see much below 45degs.
With the amount of people and scopes you want to put in it, the dimensionsyou quote are not realistic.
A basic garden shed 3x3 meters square could be modified into an observatory at under $2000.00, but I think with Dobsonian type telescope you want to put in it you would have to be able to lower the walls to get a decent view of the sky.
You would have to put in a lot of the work your self to get under the $2000.00 mentioned.
My observatory IS A 3X3 meter square shed and as you can see it would not be much good for a Dobsonian and not a lot of room for many people.
