rising moon with 1000mm

Hi,
today I tested the 2" 2x barlow lens with the Pentax 75/500.
I used the Canon 350d, ISO 800, 1/200s

f/13 made it possible to get moon and trees sharp.

Truly lovely images Werner,
I really like the the effect of the Moon rising through the trees.
Love the colour of the Moon and especially like the first image.

Well done

Thank you for your nice answers!

I think that the Pentax with the barlow is a good combination for pics like that.

cheers

Today is a cloudy night. No new material

So I show you another pic I made yesterday

http://www.prokyon.startime.at/Bilde...ang8Mai09d.jpg

It is a composite of 2 pics, 1/125s and 1,6s with ISO 100.
Pentax without a barlow.

cheers

Fabulous images Werner !!

I've been dying to get images like this of the full moon rising behind trees.
Haven't gotten around to it yet.

You're photos are an inspiration.

Thanks for sharing.

Yes, very nice - esp #2 - very appealing. Not sure of the yellowish hue or if I'd prefer blue.
