Comet C/2008 Q3 Garradd + animation
This one's quite 'bright' (around mag 9) in morning skies after an outburst in late April. Imaged it this morning, as it moves into Pavo from Indus.
Piggybacked Canon 400D at 55mm, 3 x 3 min, ISO 1600, F/4.5. Fully hand-guided with slo-mo knob on EQ1 mount.
Also a little animation showing movement from when I imaged it early Thursday morning to this morning. About 2 deg 15'...
Cheers -

Hi Rob,
I love how you have presented the still image of the comet with an inset, looks very effective and the animation demonstrates nicely the movement.
Well done
Regards
Trevor

Thanks guys!
C/2009 G1 STEREO is a similar brightness in the morning sky at the moment, 22P Kopff a little dimmer.
