IC 2948 -- 23 hours of chicken
For the last little while I have been imaging the so called "Running
Chicken Nebula". I haven't been able to see the chicken with any
confidence, but this is the best guess orientation that I could come
up with. Lots of clouds have have been interrupting the imaging so I
ended up with more data than I thought. Imagine that, more data,
rather than my usual "not enough"data!!

Comments or criticisms welcome.
Best regards,
Tom

Wow, very nice. I can see the chicken alright. Right in the middle of the light blue part in the center. Very nicely done.

You'll have to clean your objective as the photo is covered by very, very small white dots
A most excellent photo brilliantly processed.

Nicely done Tom. The chicken has been cooked to perfection with 23hours of data along with some special herbs and spices to taste. Thanks for sharing this visual feast.

While I don't really go for narrow band images, this is one image that is very nicely done. Lovely sharp star and lots of detail visible. Thanks for posting.

Excellent work. A marathon effort. In fact I was inspired by it to image that little Planetary nebula that is clearly visible there
How many nights were involved in getting the data?
