Just a few pics from the last couple of years. The first is sunrise looking east from Mitchell back towards Roma in June 2007.
The 2nd is looking through a Gidjea tree with wedge tailed eagle nest in the Simpson Desert in 2007.
Then we have a sunset looking over the top of a sand dune in the Simpson Desert. Pity how the photograph never matches reality! The camera or the photographer???
The next 2 are in July 2008 from our friends' 16 000 acre Brahman stud near Surat, south of Roma.
The last is looking from the Birdsville carvan park east across the Diamantina River in June 2007. If you look really closely you may make out the brolga in the middle of the river. There is a 2nd brolga, but he's in the shadows and can't be seen in the photo.
