PC Base Unit, 1Tb Storage, Socket 775

PC Base Unit :

Pentium4 3.2Ghz D Socket 775 (one of the last P4's, dual core)
Gigabyte Socket 775 Motherboard. (board also supports C2Duo) with PCI-E slot to upgrade video card
2Gb DDR2
500 Gb SATA Drive
500 Gb (2*250) SATA Drives
Yes, thats 3 drives, giving 1Tb of storage
Pioneer DVD-RW
Shiny black Coolermaster Case
Intel 945 VGA integrated.
New 400W PSU fitted today
Digital Tape Drive (was used as a server)

Whole thing is in excellent condition and would make an excellent second box, or a great PC for your observatory (board has COM ports and front mounted audio and USB) or make a nice little HTPC

$300 as is or

$330 with a Radeon HD3450 (passively cooled, and a much better option for gaming or as a HTPC with VGA out and DV-I out)

thanks for looking

PS. This is a very solidly built case, and is HEAVY !!!
Pickup very much preffered, although not absolutely essential

NOW SOLD

Duncan,

What exactly is the tape drive type and capacity, and do you have any tapes? Depending on the answer to the above, are you willing to separate the tape unit?

Thanks Duncan, but I'll pass.
Not really massive enough storage for my needs (only 80Gb raw to 208Gb compressed), and the tapes cost the better part of $70 each. If I just needed to backup the "essentials" this would be great, and getting the PC as well would be worth it! I'd heartily recommend as a bargain long-term backup solution to anyone who doesn't have as much data as me! (3Tb full at the moment)
