I had a great night last night, out in the observatory imaging NGC 5128 until 11:30pm and then left the scope going on other NGC objects for the rest of the night. A rare opportunity to be up late capturing some astro data
Also tweaked my polar alignment slightly earlier in the night, attempting to get my pointing accuracy back to it's former glory.
Looks a little soft and contrast lacking on my work PC but at home it looked sharper and more contrasty ... so not sure if I've processed it quite right.
Sharp details in the dust lane. Very nice Roger. Glad to hear you guys are getting some sky time in WA. Can you push some our way?
Thanks
Be nice if we could share the good weather around Funny though, I drove down from the hills (where I live) to the flats for work this morning and there was cloud everywhere, thick. So I dunno, maybe it just kindly avoided my suburb last night!

smooth , but i think you could sharpen the dust lanes a bit for effect if you wanted too,
Very nice clean image Roger, I think you can probably squeaze a bit more out of this image and adjust the contrast a little more to really highlight the image.
Very nice.
Very up close and personal Roger Good detail and smoothly processed
It is nice and smooth isn't it, something I like about he shot. Thanks

Agree with Clive, a bit of sharpening in the dust lanes would make it pop a bit more.
It would be nice if it wasn't so up close and person, but have to live with the pixel scale I have
