Mars attempt

Some examples of a try at Mars last night , conditions weren't to bad and could make out surface features through the LPI capture software on and off but getting focus was a tough mission . Tried first through the SCT at F/10 and then with a 2x powermate ,tried both getting individual frames and running through Registax and just using the autostar program with both i guess similar results .

That's a great effort Stuart, especially for one of your first attempts at Mars! I love the colour balance, much more orangey/brown than mine..

Very good effort and some nice detail visible.

Hey this slipped past the radar, nice start Stuart. Colour is great and some detail is visible. Your first image of Mars is way better than my first and I am sure that you will get better all the time. Keep em coming.
