odd forum behavoiur?

Hi folks!

I am using the Opera 9.64 browser.

For some reason, the posts in a thread go in descending order down a page ie. the last post at the top, followed by the second last next...and the first post at the bottom of the page. Which means I have to scroll down to the bottom to read the first post, and then scroll up to read the following posts.

Also, for a thread with multiple pages, the last page appears first, even though the page indicator(top right hand corner of thread) shows that it's the first page. And the descending order of posts still apply.

I don't know if it's because of the browser I am using, but this is the only forum that exhibit this odd behaviour, and it's very counter-intuitive and a frustrating experience.

This odd behaviour only happens when I am logged in. It returns to normal when I log out. Anyone else experiencing this?

Completely normal behavior SL....

However I think you can change it to your preference once
logged in if you don't like 'down the page descending'....
You can even make the list of posts longer if you don't like
the Page1, Page 2, Page 3 thing when you search for the
first post on a really long thread.
The forum has lots of really cool functions that took me
a while to discover...

You must have inadvertently changed it in your profile at some stage, because the default behaviour is to show the oldest post first and the newest post last.

Go into your profile options (when logged in) and scroll down to the "Thread Display Mode" and change it to "Linear - Oldest First".
